Meanwhile, everything went Goldsboro's way against Beddingfield on Tuesday as Goldsboro made off with a 22-6 victory. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly 16 runs.

Princeton now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Goldsboro, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.
