Football Game Preview: Lafayette Patriots vs. Long Island City Bulldogs

The Lafayette Patriots will take on the Long Island City Bulldogs on Saturday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 36-6, which was the final score in Lafayette's tilt against Stevenson on Sunday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Long Island City got themselves on the board against Smith on Sunday, but Smith never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 38-0 victory over the Warriors. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Lafayette now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Long Island City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lafayette might still be hurting after the 32-6 defeat they got from Long Island City when the teams last played back in September of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Patriots were down 32-0.
