Volleyball Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillcrest Hornets. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16.

Hillcrest can attribute much of their success to Piersyn Ray, who had 11 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Ray has posted over her last ten contests.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-19-1. As for Hillcrest, their record now sits at 7-16-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkview will challenge Webb City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hillcrest, they will welcome Logan-Rogersville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
