Soccer Game Preview: Penn Hills vs. Plum + How To Watch

Penn Hills hasn't had much luck against Plum recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Penn Hills didn't have quite enough to beat Hempfield Area and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Gateway kept up with Plum until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Mustangs' defense stepped up to hand the Gators a 3-0 shutout. Plum might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Gateway with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Christian Alter, Corey Nese, and Elias Vasil.

Plum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those nine contests. As for Penn Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1.
