It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Harrison had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Kokomo Wildkats as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 back in April.

Lilly Kiefer tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Harrison got a massive performance out of Alex Waitkoff, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave Waitkoff a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anna Hainje, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Harrison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .640. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kokomo, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-11 record.

Coming up, Harrison will square off against Noblesville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Millers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. Kokomo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
