Basketball Game Preview: Hoffman Estates Hawks vs. Palatine Pirates

Hoffman Estates hasn't had much luck against Palatine recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hoffman Estates Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Palatine Pirates at 7:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Hoffman Estates was beaten by Barrington 76-49.

Meanwhile, Palatine humbled Jacobs with a 67-31 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Pirates just coasted through the last quarter.

Hoffman Estates' defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Palatine, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Hoffman Estates suffered a grim 60-38 defeat to Palatine in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Hoffman Estates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
