Baseball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

The Springfield Wildcats came up short against the Whitley County Colonels on Tuesday, falling 18-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springfield now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Whitley County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Springfield has already played their next contest, a 15-5 win against Greeneview on the 1st. As for Whitley County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-8 victory against Crescent on the 2nd.
