Football Game Preview: Temple Tigers vs. Darlington Tigers + How To Watch

Temple will venture away from home to square off against Darlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Temple's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Temple is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Haralson County last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Tigers lost 26-6 to the Rebels.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Darlington). They blew past Model 47-21 on Friday. The Tigers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 18, 2024 (when they won 31-0).

Darlington's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for Temple, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Temple against Darlington in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 51-7 victory. In that matchup, Temple amassed a halftime lead of 44-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
