St. Charles North entered their tilt with Downers Grove South on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the North Stars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Haley Burgdorf paced St. Charles North's offense, picking up 12 kills. Burgdorf got some help from Mia McCall and her 24 assists. Amber Czerniak controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Charles North's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Downers Grove South, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
