Soccer Recap: North Platte Takes a Loss

North Platte was the 0-0 winner over Lincoln Northeast when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Rockets on Tuesday, falling 5-0. North Platte have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Platte was without their leading scorer, Wudit Dasen, in Tuesday's contest. With Dasen sidelined, Blake Tonkinson got his first action of the season.

North Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lincoln Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Platte will take on rival Omaha Northwest at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lincoln Northeast is set to challenge their familiar foe Bryan at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
