Academy for Technology and The Classics has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.
Academy for Technology and The Classics was led to victory by Estevan Martinez and Julian Bernardino. Martinez scored eight points along with six steals, while Bernardino scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Apodaca, who scored 11 points.
The win was the ninth in a row for Academy for Technology and The Classics, bringing their record for this year to 14-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Estancia, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Academy for Technology and The Classics will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Menaul at 3:30 p.m. Menaul will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Mexico Rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Academy for Technology and The Classics is ranked 20th). As for Estancia, they will head out on the road to take on Tierra Encantada at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tierra Encantada comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
