After a string of five wins, Mill Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 66-50 bruising from the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Mill Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Mill Valley has already played their next match, a 77-75 win against Shawnee Mission Northwest on the 31st. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South at 7:00 p.m. Kapaun Mt. Carmel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully South likes a good challenge.
