 Myrtle can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Monday. They walked away with  a   10-6  win over the Falkner Eagles. The  victory was just what Myrtle needed coming off of  a  16-0 defeat in their prior  matchup.
  Ray Moody made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks). Moody was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Drew Stanton and  Wes Stanton did most of the damage at the plate:  Stanton  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Stanton  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Eli Crumpton was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Myrtle's win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-13. As for Falkner, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-6.
 Myrtle will have a chance to go back-to-back against Falkner: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
