Baseball Recap: York Takes a Loss

York suffered their closest defeat since March 22, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the First Colonial Patriots by a score of 2-0. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

York's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for First Colonial, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Coming up, York is taking a road trip to challenge Bruton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.06 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for First Colonial, they will be playing at home against Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
