Mergenthaler Vo-Tech was the 62-60 winner over Carver Vo-Tech when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs fell just short of the Carver Vo-Tech Bears by a score of 50-47 on Tuesday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carver Vo-Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Prior out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards gave Prior a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyjuan Savage, who posted eight points and five steals.

Mergenthaler Vo-Tech now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Carver Vo-Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
