Baseball Recap: Cedar Creek Christian Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cedar Creek Christian's offense. They came up short against the Yulee Hornets on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cedar Creek Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ricky Hamilton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Cedar Creek Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Yulee, they moved to 6-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Creek Christian will challenge Parsons Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cedar Creek Christian has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Yulee, they will square off against Suwannee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
