Baseball Recap: Beloit Memorial Takes a Loss

Beloit Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Waterford Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on Tuesday.

Beloit Memorial saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tayvon Cates, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Beloit Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Waterford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Beloit Memorial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Badger on the 5th. As for Waterford, they have also already played their next match, a 5-4 win against Westosha Central on the 5th.
