Volleyball Recap: Weaver Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weaver was the 3-0 winner over Academy of International Studies when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Beavers lost 3-0 to the Dragons on Monday. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Weaver was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Academy of International Studies work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-18.

Academy of International Studies was led to victory by Natalee Pabe and Lisa Weinberg. Pabe had 18 digs and seven aces, while Weinberg had eight digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Weinberg is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game.

Weaver now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Academy of International Studies, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Weaver has already played their next matchup (against Hartford Public), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Academy of International Studies, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy on the 8th.
