Baseball Recap: Morgan Extends Winning Streak to Three

Morgan waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Ogden Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

George Jensen was excellent, scoring a run while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Kanyon Leonelli was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Ogden, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Morgan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
