Stanton is 9-1 against Riverside since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will host the Generals at 6:00 p.m. Stanton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Stanton made easy work of Raines and carried off a 17-2 victory. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Marissa Joseph made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Joseph was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

In other batting news, Stanton let Emmalyn Gensch and Adriana Kendrick run wild. Gensch went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Kendrick went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Maddie Hicks, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Stanton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2025.

Riverside played against Ribault on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

Stanton's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Stanton got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Riverside by a conclusive 14-1 score. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
