Volleyball Recap: Malibu Victorious

Malibu saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Laguna Beach Breakers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Malibu's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Laguna Beach, they moved to 8-14 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Malibu wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fontana on the 19th. As for Laguna Beach, they will challenge Northwood at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Breakers surely won't give up without a fight.
