Softball Recap: Breckenridge Triumphs

Breckenridge proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 15) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Rothsay Tigers 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Cowboys, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Breckenridge let Claire Langenwalter and Collyn Hought run wild. Langenwalter went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Hought went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That double was Langenwalter's first of the season.

Breckenridge's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Rothsay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Coming up, Breckenridge will venture away from home to square off against Staples-Motley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rothsay, they will welcome Hancock at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
