Sequoyah put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 71-29 victory over the Oktaha Tigers. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sequoyah pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Oktaha, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Sequoyah and Oktaha should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Sequoyah (ranked 14th) will meet Atoka (ranked 125th) at 1:15 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Meanwhile, Oktaha will take on Haskell at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025 up 213 places (83 vs. 296).
