Softball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Camden's Winning Streak

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Camden couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Ichabod Crane Riders on Wednesday, falling 20-12. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Blue Devils, who fell 6-4 when the teams last met back in June of 2024.

Camryn Shenk was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Aubree Turk was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one triple.

With the loss, Camden broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-5. As for Ichabod Crane, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.
