After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hillsboro, Whitney was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Frost Polar Bears a 14-0 shutout. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Whitney's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Whitney wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 18-3 loss against Tolar on the 27th. As for Frost, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Mart on the 27th.
