Baseball Recap: North Panola Comes Up Short

The North Panola Cougars came up short against the Delta Academy Raiders on Monday and fell 8-3.

Isaiah Callicut made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Watson, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases.

North Panola's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Delta Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Raiders beat North Panola by a score of 12-5 later that day.
