Soccer Recap: Altoona Takes a Loss

Altoona's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Somerset Spartans by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Altoona in their meetings with Somerset: they've now lost seven in a row.

Altoona's goal came courtesy of Lauren Dallas, which was the first she's scored this season.

Altoona's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Somerset, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

Altoona wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Spooner on the 19th. As for Somerset, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Baldwin-Woodville on the 17th.
