Basketball Recap: Eagle Pass Comes Up Short

Eagle Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 45-28 fall against the Pflugerville Panthers. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Eagle Pass' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Pflugerville, they moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, Eagle Pass will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cornerstone Christian at 7:30 p.m. The Eagles will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.54 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pflugerville, they are taking a road trip to take on Leander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
