Softball Recap: Oglethorpe County Comes Up Short

Oglethorpe County fell victim to Commerce and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. This is the first time the Patriots have not plated a run since all the way back on August 27th.

Oglethorpe County has now lost three of their last four games on the road. That's taken a bite out of their 14-9 record this season. As for Commerce, they have now won three of their last four games at home. That's given a healthy boost to their 11-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Oglethorpe County is set to take on their familiar foe Banks County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Commerce will challenge their in-conference opponent Prince Avenue Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
