Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-34, which was the final score in Cedar Shoals' tilt against East Forsyth on Friday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Cedar Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for North Oconee, their victory bumped their record up to 19-1.

Everything came up roses for North Oconee against Cedar Shoals in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-26 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Oconee since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
