Fort Bend Austin is 8-2 against Fort Bend Dulles since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs will host the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Fort Bend Austin will be strutting in after a victory while Fort Bend Dulles will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Fort Bend Austin turned things around against Ridge Point on Saturday. They walked away with a 70-61 win over the Panthers. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Panthers are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Dulles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Fort Bend Bush 70-36.

Fort Bend Dulles' loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Fort Bend Austin, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Fort Bend Austin came up short against Fort Bend Dulles in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 57-46. Can Fort Bend Austin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
