Xavier owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Kennedy Cougars by a score of 4-0. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Xavier's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Kennedy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
