            Softball Recap: Epping Blue Devils vs. Raymond Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Epping had lost three straight on the road, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 7-3 to make it four. They came up short against  the Raymond Rams, falling  17-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Blue Devils have suffered  since April 16, 2024.
As for Raymond, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. The  game marked their most dominant  victory of the  season so far.
 For Raymond's part,  the team  relied heavily on  Sophie Huynh, who  went 4-for-5 with five  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Huynh continues to improve, besting her previous  run total in each of the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cori Cotter, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with five  runs.
 Looking ahead, Epping will host Pittsfield  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Raymond will be paying especially close attention to the Blue Devils'  match: after the Blue Devils face off against the Panthers, they'll take on Raymond again  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
