Basketball Game Preview: North Rowan Cavaliers vs. Mount Pleasant Tigers

The North Rowan Cavaliers and the Mount Pleasant Tigers will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Rowan will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Thomasville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. North Rowan breezed by Thomasville to the tune of 90-43 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant entered their tilt with Gray Stone Day on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-29 win over the Knights. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Knights are ranked 648th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Mount Pleasant, they have also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.
