Basketball Game Preview: Destiny Christian Academy Lions vs. McClatchy Lions

Destiny Christian Academy took a 26-point loss the last time they faced off against Antelope, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Destiny Christian Academy had just enough and edged Antelope out 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since December 22, 2023.

Meanwhile, McClatchy lost to Grant at home by a 81-63 margin on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Destiny Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for McClatchy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
