Softball Recap: Holy Trinity Comes Up Short

Holy Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-6 to the Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cristeros apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Angelina Mora was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two triples, and three RBI.

Holy Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, they moved to 7-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Cristo Rey Jesuit has already played their next game, a 21-10 loss against Juarez on the 9th. Hopefully Holy Trinity paid attention to the Cristeros' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cristeros at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
