Recap: Harvey Red Raiders vs. Edgewood Warriors
The Harvey Red Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Edgewood by a score of 83-81. Harvey has not had much luck with Edgewood recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Harvey's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Armani Hall, who scored 20 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Goines, who scored 19 points.
Harvey has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Edgewood, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.
Harvey will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Conneaut at 6:45 p.m. Conneaut has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. As for Edgewood, they will head out on the road to take on Geneva at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
