Soccer Recap: Kilgore Extends Winning Streak to Five

After failing to score in their last match, Kilgore made sure to put some goals up on the board against Pine Tree on Tuesday. They never let the Pine Tree Pirates onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won five games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Kilgore's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five contests. As for Pine Tree, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Kilgore wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Tatum on the 8th. As for Pine Tree, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Spring Hill on the 7th.
