Softball Recap: Miller Comes Up Short

Miller lost against Flour Bluff back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Miller Buccaneers came up short against the Flour Bluff Hornets, falling 18-1. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miller saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Campos, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Miller's record now sits at 7-9. As for Flour Bluff, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Miller is taking a road trip to take on Gregory-Portland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flour Bluff, they will host Ray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Flour Bluff is facing Ray at the right time seeing as Ray is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
