Monroe and Dougherty are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Monroe Golden Tornadoes will face off against the Dougherty Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Monroe beat Dougherty by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monroe since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
