Football Recap: Mater Dei Wins Going Away Against Etiwanda

Mater Dei had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-point drubbing they dealt Etiwanda on Tuesday. The Monarchs blew past the Eagles 27-7. The Monarchs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Mater Dei's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.7 points on average over those games.
