Baseball Recap: Lehi Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lehi can now relate to. They fell just short of the Davis Darts by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Darts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2016.

Lehi saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mays Madsen, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Lehi's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Davis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Lehi will take on Herriman at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
