Joe Bernal gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
