Baseball Recap: Kiowa Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Kiowa unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-2 to the Front Range Christian Falcons on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

Kiowa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Watt, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Front Range Christian and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kiowa will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Otis at 1:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Front Range Christian, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Front Range Christian Falcons take on Liberty Common Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
