Pendleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Petersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pendleton County will face off against Tucker County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mountain Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.77 runs per game on average), something the Wildcat will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Petersburg, they will challenge Southern at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
