Football Recap: Utopian Academy for the Arts Takes a Loss

Utopian Academy for the Arts extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They had to suffer through a 61-6 loss at the hands of the Lamar County Trojans. While losing is never fun, Utopian Academy for the Arts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 451st, while Lamar County is ranked 194th).

As for Lamar County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 31.3 points this season.

Jayden Hillman had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 70 yards.

Utopian Academy for the Arts didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-0 loss against Towers on the 16th. As for Lamar County, they have also already played their next game, a 25-14 victory against Putnam County on the 17th.
