Genoa-Hugo/Karval and Flagler are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Pirates will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Panthers. Genoa-Hugo/Karval is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

While Flagler ultimately came up short, they really made Stratton work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 21-25, 25-20.

Genoa-Hugo/Karval now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Flagler, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Genoa-Hugo/Karval took their victory against Flagler in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
