Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Rowan Schmitmeyer and Lauren Prenger Lead Versailles to Victory + How To Watch

Versailles won the last time they faced Brookville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers blew past the Blue Devils 3-0.

Versailles walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-21.

Leading Versailles to victory were Lauren Prenger and Rowan Schmitmeyer. Prenger had nine digs and three aces, while Schmitmeyer had five digs and three aces. Prenger is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good server: Versailles was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Versailles' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Brookville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Versailles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Celina on the 26th. Brookville has also already played their next game (against Waynesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
