Basketball Game Preview: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles vs. Asheville Christian Academy Lions

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles will face off against the Asheville Christian Academy Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee came up short against Victory Christian Center and fell 42-34.

Those three blocks gave Larios a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ansley Fuchs, who posted seven points and ten boards.

Asheville Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Asheville Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Everything came up roses for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee against Asheville Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 63-30 win.
