Soccer Recap: Woodlands Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Woodlands Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Woodlands Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Woodlands Academy dropped their record down to 2-7-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Cristo Rey St. Martin, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6-2 record this season.

Woodlands Academy has already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Latin on the 2nd. As for Cristo Rey St. Martin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Forest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
